Karam Ismayilov, a teacher at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), has died of a coronavirus at the age of 71.

Karam Ismayilov graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Physical Culture (now the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports) in 1976, Tehsil.biz reports.

He was hired at AzTU in 1988 and worked as a volleyball coach until 2021.

The management and staff of AzTU are saddened by the death of Karam Ismayilov and offer their condolences to his family and relatives.
