On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Patriotic War, the book "Patriotic War and the problem of national self-consciousness in literature" by Rahid Ulusel, senior researcher at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, researcher of the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan, was published by "Science and Education" publishing house. .

According to Tehsil.biz, the book consists of a conceptual substantiation of the paradigm "Victorious literature of the victorious Azerbaijan". For the first time, the author examines how the Patriotic War affected the process of national self-awareness in literature and what qualitative changes it created, traces the evolution of mutual stimulation of state and cultural construction in Azerbaijan, reveals the aesthetic essence of literature inseparable from its political history. He also traces the formation of the political, cultural, moral and literary worldview that led to the formation of our independent state, examines examples of literature created during the First and Second Karabakh Wars - "the first and second layers of the literary-artistic chronicle." Summarizing the achievements of fiction and our literary and humanitarian culture in general over the past year since the beginning of the war, the author concludes that great prospects open up for Azerbaijani literature, art and culture.

Rahid Ulusel rightly points out that "Conquering the Shusha Summit of Literature" is the embodiment of our creative thinking today.

The scientific editor of the book and the author of the "Foreword" is academician Nizami Jafarov, MP, director of the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan.
