Dean of Cankaya University at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Prof.Dr. A meeting was held with Buket Akkoyunlu.

The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, deans, heads of departments and other officials of the university, Tehsil.biz reports.

During the meeting, discussions were held on quality assurance and accreditation of education at AzTU.

It was noted that AzTU is cooperating with the Education Quality Assurance Agency (TQTA) to establish an internal quality assurance system. Within the framework of the cooperation, the agency organized awareness-raising trainings for the university staff in the relevant direction. It was noted the importance of establishing a mechanism for monitoring and evaluation of the educational and methodological complex at AzTU and studying the Turkish experience in this area.

Then the dean of Cankaya University, Prof. Dr. Buket Akkoyunlu made a presentation on quality assurance and accreditation processes in education. During the presentation, he shared the experience of Turkish universities in this field.
