BMU Vice-Rector was awarded at the international congress

Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Baku Engineering University (BMU), Associate Professor Elchin Suleymanov took part in the VII TURKCESS Congress on "Changes and Innovation in Society" in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

This year, the Vice-Rector of BMU was awarded the "Turkic World Service Award", which is awarded annually by the decision of the organizers of the Congress, for conducting numerous studies related to the Turkic world. The award was presented by the rector of Yildiz Technical University, Professor Tamer Yilmaz and the chairman of the organizing committee of the congress, Professor Mehmet Engin Deniz.

Another award in five different categories was presented to our compatriot Murad Allahverdiyev, associate professor of the Middle East University, a talented artist, by the vice-rector of BMU.

E. Suleymanov also participated in the conference with his two co-authored researches and chaired the panel with the participation of scientists from different Turkish republics. Interesting discussions were held at the panel chaired by him.

The five-day congress discussed prospects for future cooperation between Rector Tamer Yilmaz and the university administration and BMU.

The congress, organized at the Cyprus University of Health and Social Sciences, was attended by President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar and more than two hundred scientists from more than 20 countries.
