A few days ago, the Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev said at a briefing on the organization of the new school year that full-time education will begin on September 22 for grades l-IV, and on September 29 for grades V-XI.

Is there a change in the purchase of school uniforms after the announced decision?

We contacted Baku Sewing House about the issue.

Etibar Azimov, head of the company's sales department, told Oxu.Az that despite the decision to open schools, there has been no increase in the sale of school uniforms:

"The decision has just been made. There is no increase yet. There are those who are waiting and there are those who receive. Maybe after that there will be an increase in the sale of uniforms.

E.Azimov noted that there has been no change in the price of school uniforms since 2017:

“Forms for grades I-VI cost 40 manat, uniforms for grades VII-XI cost 46 manat. Single pants in sizes 26-42 cost 15 manats, and those in sizes 44-56 cost 18 manats. At the same time, the price of single skirts is 15 and 18 manats, respectively.
