Fakhriya Mammadova will conduct scientific research in the United States

A number of problems facing the modern world are the main topics of scientific research conducted in prestigious universities. It is very significant that young people from Azerbaijan also participate in global scientific research, and their number is growing every year.

The winners of the Fulbright Research Fellowship, which is fully funded by the US Department of State, will be announced in the United States this academic year. It is gratifying that among the winners is a young researcher Fakhriya Mammadova, a fellow of the "State Program for the Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad in 2007-2015."

It should be noted that F. Mammadova was born on August 15, 1987 in Baku. In 2004, he graduated from school-lyceum No. 83 with honors. In the same year he was admitted to the Faculty of Chemistry of St. Petersburg State University, and in 2009 he graduated from the same university as a chemist. In 2009-2011 he worked as a chemist at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). At the same time, as a member of the Expert Council on Chemistry at the State Student Admission Commission, he participated in the preparation and examination of test assignments for entrance exams to higher and secondary vocational education institutions. In December 2011, he was admitted to the graduate school of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov within the "State Program for the education of Azerbaijani youth abroad in 2007-2015." In June 2015, he successfully defended his dissertation on biotechnology, including bionanotechnology, and received a doctorate in chemistry. Since August 2015, he worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of ANAS, a chemistry teacher at the Baku Engineering University. From the 2018-2019 academic year, he works at the Azerbaijan-French University, which operates under the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry. He was also awarded the Presidential Prize for Youth in Science in 2016.
The results of Mammadova's research work have been published in a number of prestigious foreign scientific journals and presented at international conferences.

It should be noted that the Fulbright Research Fellowship Program is a non-degree, postdoctoral scholarship for researchers of various degrees, experts from educational institutions, and university lecturers who wish to conduct postgraduate research, lecture, or conduct joint research in the United States. is a program. Fulbright, the country's leading academic exchange program, provides 8,000 scholarships each year for education, teaching, and research in the United States.
