The new academic year 2021-2022 has started remotely in Georgian secondary and higher schools due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the local bureau of the Report, such training in public and private educational institutions will continue until October 4.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of the country, students admitted to the first grade will start teaching on October 4. This decision will apply only to cities and villages with a coronavirus infection rate of less than 4%.

After October 4, it is expected that a decision will be made to hold classes in all educational institutions across the country.

As for kindergartens, they will not operate until October 4.
