The 2021-2022 academic year will start in Azerbaijan on September 22. The Ministry of Education has already made all preparations in this regard, and all questions of interest to teachers, parents and students have been clarified.
According to Tehsil.biz Modern.az, the most interesting question for citizens was whether parents without COVID-19 passports will be allowed to go to school.
Answering this question at a briefing on the organization of the 2021-2022 academic year, Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev said, "We do not require any COVID-19 passports from parents."
As of today, most schools in Baku do not allow parents who do not have a COVID-19 passport to take their children's books or solve any school-related issues. The reason for this in the schools was the decision of the Ministry of Education at the request of the Operative Staff under the Cabinet of Ministers on the COVID-19 passport.
