The Baku City Education Department has launched a social project called "Online Book Club".
According to Tehsil.biz, the main goal of the project is to develop students' reading and writing skills, improve their speaking skills, and create opportunities for them to express themselves fully and freely.
An "Online Book Club" page (https://www.facebook.com/Online-kitab-klubu-110724968012960) has been created on Facebook for the project, which aims to develop ICT skills in conjunction with reading.
The site provides for the sharing of electronic and audio books, discussions of various books, competitions on the basis of small sections, sharing ideas about books at the initiative of students and teachers, periodic live meetings with writers and poets on Facebook.
