The teaching of I-IV grades of general education institutions has been traditionally started on September 22, 2021.

According to Tehsil.biz, today 643,333 students have started traditional education in these classes.

In the 2021-2022 academic year, a total of 1,589,829 students are expected to study in general education institutions of the republic. 158,608 students will study in the first grade, 132,881 in the ninth grade and 91,538 in the eleventh grade.
It is expected that 117,176 students will be involved in the school preparation groups of general education institutions in the country.

In the 2021-2022 academic year, the first lessons in grades I-XI will be "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!" will be dedicated to the topic.

By the first day of the new school year, 5 overhauled, 17 newly built and 15 modular schools were put into operation.

It should be noted that from September 29, teaching will traditionally begin in grades V-XI of general education institutions, as well as in out-of-school, vocational, secondary and higher education institutions.
