Rector of the Azerbaijan Theological Institute, Associate Professor Agil Shirinov shared on the occasion of September 27 - Remembrance Day:

"Today our people celebrate the Day of Remembrance. Praise be to the Almighty Creator, who gave us the opportunity to taste victory! We bow to the souls of our dear martyrs, who raised our heads to the sky, killed death and became immortal, and express our eternal gratitude to the parents who brought them up. We are grateful to our victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, who defended the rights of the Azerbaijani people and put the signature of our nation on paper. We are grateful to Turkey for its unlimited and unconditional support to Azerbaijan. We express our gratitude to brotherly Pakistan, which expresses it not in the name of rhetoric or political ambitions, but in a real and practical way, saying, "Pakistan is bad in prison!" And, of course, we are grateful to the citizens of Azerbaijan, regardless of religion, ethnicity and social affiliation, who managed to unite in these difficult and fateful days.
