The Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has awarded the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences to Kazim Huseynov, Associate Professor of Plant Protection, Faculty of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU).

According to Tehsil.biz, Kazim Huseynov worked as a senior agronomist in the Karabakh viticulture state farm of Aghdam region in 1988-1996. From 1996 to 2020, he worked at the Scientific Research Institute of Plant Protection and Technical Plants as a junior researcher, researcher, leading researcher and department head. Since 2020, he has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Plant Protection of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU).

In 2001, he defended his dissertation on "Improving the short-term and long-term development forecast of the pest cluster in the Ganja-Gazakh region and informing the optimal time of control." In 2008 he was awarded the title of Associate Professor of Entomology, and in 2021 - Doctor of Biological Sciences.
