The Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARTI) held a meeting on the organization of the process of creating and applying new content in the specialty "Computer Science and Technology" of Baku State University (BSU) within the "SABAH Master's" program.
The meeting was attended by BSU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Huseyn Mammadov, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics Mahammad Mehdiyev, ARTI staff and masters admitted to the "TOMORROW'S MASTER'S" program.
Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics Mahammad Mehdiyev spoke about the work done to improve the quality of training in "Computer Science and Technology" at BSU and wished success to the masters admitted to the "SABAH Master's" program.
Huseyn Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations of BSU, stressed the importance of the "SABAH Master's" program and spoke about the importance of improving the teaching of fundamental sciences and expanding scientific research in this area.
Then the project coordinator of the "SABAH master's program" Sabina Babayeva, an employee of ARTI, gave detailed information about the project. He said that a number of activities on "Computer Science and Technology" specialization have been organized at BSU since the 2021/2022 academic year within the "SABAH Master's" project implemented for ARTI higher education master's degree. These activities include content training, selection and instruction of professors and teachers, organization of extracurricular extracurricular activities for masters and research and provision of logistics.
Textbooks in the form of a curriculum concept, curriculum, syllabus, sample syllabus, teaching materials and collection of articles have been developed. In order to provide the material and technical base for specialization, ARTI plans to establish a computer laboratory.
The main goal of the project is to create a new content and training infrastructure that will provide internationally competitive professional training in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market and to stimulate its sustainability.
It should be noted that young Azerbaijani specialists trained abroad in the relevant field are also involved in the project. The coordinator of the "SABAH Master's" program at BSU is Professor Alakbar Aliyev, Head of the Department of Information Technology and Programming, Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics.
