At the meeting of the Department of Finance and Economics of the University of Azerbaijan was held a preliminary discussion of the dissertation on "Improvement of the methodology of institutional regulation of relations" performed by Tim Rasimovich Ross for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.

At the meeting chaired by the Deputy Head of the Department of Finance and Economics, Associate Professor Nariman Boyukkishi, Reviewer i.e.n. dos. Aliaga Ismayilzade, member of the commission Gahraman Yusupov attended. The scientific adviser of the doctoral student is prof. Rovshan Guliyev, reviewer i.u.f.d. Ibrahim Guliyev joined the discussion online. The chairman introduced the applicant to the participants of the discussion and informed him about his scientific and pedagogical activity.

The applicant informed about the scientific relevance of the dissertation, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, acquainted the participants with the brief content of the work and answered the questions.

Afterwards, the participants discussed the submitted dissertation and praised it as a completed research work.

In the end, it was noted that the dissertation meets the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, and it was decided to recommend it to the next stage of defense.
