Microsoft has released a new version of the operating system - Windows 11, which can now be downloaded.

Owners of newly purchased Windows 10 computers can now upgrade to Windows 11 for free. The rest of the users of Windows 10 devices will receive an offer to gradually update the software if the computers meet the minimum system requirements.

"We recommend that all compatible Windows 10 devices be upgraded to Windows 11 by mid-2022," Microsoft said in a statement.

Users who don't want to wait for the Update Center to offer to install Windows 11 can now update their Windows 11 operating system using Microsoft's new Installation Assistant.

The minimum system requirements for installing Windows 11 can be found on the official website of Microsoft.
