Of the general education institutions operating under the Baku City Education Department (BCED), 133 are supplied by Azeristilik OJSC in a centralized manner, 179 by a private boiler house, and 7 by individual and centralized heating.

The statement came from BSTI in response to a Trend inquiry.

It was noted that in accordance with the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the heat supply of general education institutions begins on November 15 each year and lasts until April 15:

"Preliminary monitoring is carried out to check the readiness of general education institutions operating under the auspices of the ITUC for the autumn-winter season in the 2021-2022 academic year. Inquiries are sent to enterprises. lines, radiators are inspected and operative measures are taken to eliminate the detected defects.

The need to clean chimneys, replace faulty radiators, circulating pumps, upgrade heating lines and increase gas pressure in the boiler rooms of some schools is summarized and the Ministry of Education's Capital Construction and Supply Department is addressed and urgent measures are taken.

During the monitoring, along with the work done to eliminate the identified problems in the heating systems of educational institutions, the elimination of current problems in the system is also in the focus of attention. "
