An event dedicated to the International Teachers' Day was held on October 5, 2021 at Mingachevir State University (MSU). The event was attended by members of the academic and administrative staff of the university.

Opening the event, which was organized online via the Microsoft Teams platform, MSU Rector Shahin Bayramov congratulated all members of the university's faculty on their professional holiday and wished them success in their honorable and responsible activities.

Noting that our national leader Heydar Aliyev has always valued the name of a teacher, Bayramov spoke about the opportunities created for the improvement of social welfare and comprehensive development of teachers as a result of significant changes in education under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

Speaking about the celebration of Teachers' Day with endless joy and pride for the first time after the historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the bravery of the invincible Azerbaijani soldier, the rector said hundreds of educators took part in the battles to ensure our territorial integrity. and wished mercy to all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our lands from occupation, and wished healing to our veterans.

Emphasizing the role of raising the young generation in the spirit of patriotism in the glorious victory written in golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan, the rector stressed the great role of parents and teachers in this work. .

Speaking about the strategic goals of MSU, which has chosen the path of rapid modernization, the rector drew attention to the responsibilities of teachers to train high quality staff in accordance with the requirements of the new era.

Speaking at the meeting, old and young teachers of MSU congratulated their colleagues on the occasion of International Teachers' Day, as well as thanked the university administration for the attention and sensitivity, the healthy family atmosphere formed at the university.

It should be noted that the MSU, which aims to become a university of the new era, focuses on holding regular meetings with teachers, improving their social status and ensuring their comprehensive development, with special emphasis on holding relevant events in this direction.
