The winners of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry have been announced.
On October 6, in Stockholm, the Royal Swedish Academy announced that the 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry had been awarded to German scientist Benjamin List and his American counterpart David McMillan.
According to the academy, this year's laureates were awarded "for the development of asymmetric organocatalysis."
