A lawsuit has been filed to collect 50 manat from students at the Technical-Humanitarian Lyceum in the capital.
According to Tehsil.biz, the information was shared on social networks.
According to parents, principal Kamala Mirzoyeva warned that a student who does not bring 50 manat per month will not be allowed to go to school.
It is unknown for what purpose the money was collected.
In response to oxu.az's inquiry, the Baku City Education Department said that a relevant investigation is underway at the Technical-Humanitarian Lyceum:
"Additional information on the results of the investigation will be provided to the public."
"Appropriate measures within the requirements of the legislation against cases that do not correspond to the activities of the school and teachers are always in the center of attention," the department said.
