Further strengthening of the recognition of the Baku Engineering University (BMU) in the international arena has attracted the attention of citizens of different countries. Thus, citizens of new countries have joined the ranks of foreign students studying in the 2021/2022 academic year. Citizens of Yemen, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan and other countries are especially interested in studying at BMU. At the same time, the fact that education at the university is mainly in English and the availability of different specialty programs are the main reasons for this growing interest. In total, students from 22 foreign countries study at BMU for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

In addition to students who apply individually at the BMU or are admitted through the State Examination Center (SEC), students enrolled in the Education Grant (TGP) and Intergovernmental Education Programs (IGP) also study. According to the decision to provide educational grants to citizens of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) for higher education in the Republic of Azerbaijan, citizens of the relevant member states who applied for higher education in our country chose BMU. joined the ranks. These countries include Morocco, Angola, Namibia and Benin. In addition, a citizen of Kazakhstan is studying at the university within the HTP.

The process of admission of foreign students to the university is carried out by the commission for admission of foreign students. The commission reviews the student's application, checks the documents, conducts an interview, and finally makes a decision.

It should be noted that foreign students applying to BMU are provided with appropriate support from the first day. They are assisted in the preparation of documents and their placement after arrival in the country and other issues (coordinator - Narmin Gahramanli ([email protected]), a specialist in foreign relations and project management at BMU).
