Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov met with Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci.

Expressing satisfaction with seeing the ambassador at the High School, Elmar Gasimov spoke about the success of BANM. Noting that 33 out of 102 people awarded the Presidential Scholarship in the country this year are students of BANM, the rector said that this is the highest figure in the history of education in Azerbaijan. Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci praised the activities of such a prestigious international university as the Baku Higher Oil School.

Elmar Gasimov stressed that Azerbaijan and Turkey, brotherly countries, have extensive ties in all areas, including education. The rector of BANM stressed his interest in establishing relations with Turkish universities. Discussions were also held with Turkish universities on the issue of dual diplomas.

Ambassador Cahit Bagci said they were ready to support cooperation between the Baku Higher Oil School and Turkish universities.

Mutual cooperation, high-level development of relations, joint projects between Turkish universities and BANM were discussed at the meeting.
