On October 7, the rector of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Professor Jafar Jafarov, and the vice-rector for science and innovations, Professor Asaf Zamanovali, met with doctoral students and dissertators.

According to Tehsil.biz, the meeting focused on research topics, work with scientific advisers and other issues. The rector got acquainted with the research conditions.

It should be noted that, according to the relevant letters of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an announcement was published in the "Azerbaijan" newspaper for admission to doctoral and dissertation programs, doctoral programs for 2021 at ADPU, and documents were received electronically. For 2021, 19 places have been allocated for doctoral programs, 7 places for dissertations, and 7 places for doctoral programs.

6 people (5 people for doctoral program, 1 person for dissertation) who successfully passed the foreign language exams in the centralized manner in the specialties envisaged in the plan were registered at the State Examination Center. The documents were examined, 4 people were admitted to the next stage in the doctoral program and 1 person in the dissertation program.

On September 2-14, 2021, the relevant commissions established by the relevant orders of the rector of ADPU, Professor Jafar Jafarov, held entrance examinations in philosophy and specialty subjects and conducted interviews.

Based on the results of interviews and exams, 4 people were admitted to the doctoral program and 1 person to the dissertation program.
