On October 8, 2021, according to the joint action plan adopted for the current academic year within the framework of cooperation between Mingachevir State University (MSU) and Baku State University (BSU), the next lecture on the "Master Classes" project was held.

Farayat Ahmadova, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, BSU Faculty of Biology, gave an online lecture on "Viruses and their diseases in humans" on the Microsoft Teams platform. masters, young academic staff members.

In the lecture, Professor F. Ahmadova spoke about the morphological structure, size, types according to the chemical composition, distinguishing features, disjunctive reproduction, multi-stage life cycle and mutations of viruses. Speaking about the different types of viruses and the diseases they cause in the human body, the professor gave detailed information about the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, which is currently spreading around the world, measures to combat it and methods of protection.

Students and faculty members of Moscow State University exchanged views on the topic of the lecture and answered questions. The lecturers thanked Professor Ahmadova and everyone who supported the development of cooperation and expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the project.

The next lecture will be held on October 15 by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of BSU, Professor of the UNESCO Department of Human Rights and Information Law, Doctor of Law Amir Aliyev on "Mechanisms to ensure human rights and freedoms." will be held on the topic.

It should be noted that in order to improve the quality of higher education services and strengthen the academic capacity of MSU, special attention is paid to cooperation with BSU, the flagship and oldest higher education institution in the country. In order to further increase the intensity and results-oriented of this cooperation, both universities have adopted a multifaceted joint action plan to be implemented in the current academic year. Aimed at contributing to the comprehensive development of students and graduate students, academic and administrative staff, this action plan includes master classes, conferences, scientific seminars, trainings, exchange of experiences and student-oriented activities of various contents.
