The opening ceremony of a new educational building for Zardabi settlement secondary school of Guba region was held on October 8.

It was noted that the educational institution was rebuilt and put into operation in 2021. The educational institution consists of three blocks with three floors. The school has 40 classrooms, 2 language rooms, 2 computer rooms, 6 laboratories, 4 teachers' rooms, 1 electrical room, 1 doctor's room, 4 technical rooms, 1 staff room, 1 library and reading room, 144-seat cafeteria, 344-seat assembly hall. , 2 ammunition rooms, 3 reception rooms and 18 bathrooms were given to teachers and students. The school has 1 gym, 2 dressing rooms, 1 football field, 1 volleyball and basketball court, 3 treadmills.

The newly built school seats 850 students. At present, 765 students study at the school.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, MP Vahid Ahmadov noted that the main task set by the President is to cultivate patriotic youth with high talent and ability, as well as national moral values.

The head of the Executive Power of Guba region Ziyaddin Aliyev congratulated the school staff on the opening of the new school, noting that significant work has been done in recent years to develop education.

Rufat Hajiyev, head of the Education Department of Guba region, said that the construction of a new building for the Zardabi secondary school once again confirms that the new model of education in Azerbaijan is the basis of the success achieved in recent years in the field of education.
