On October 9, the Council of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers (SRRS) of the Guba branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University held an online meeting on planning the work to be done in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The meeting was attended by the director of the branch, associate professor Yusif Aliyev, the head of the EAC department, associate professor Sakin Jabbarov, the chairman of the branch Elbrus Ahmadov, members of the Council.

Associate Professor Yusif Aliyev first greeted everyone and wished success to every doctoral student:

"As in many fields, despite the fact that we are a branch, the topics covered by our dissertations in Azerbaijan are either unexplored, partially studied, or perhaps in terms of coordination, researchers in this field have not yet been in close contact with each other. As the Council of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers, holding these events is not the responsibility of one person, because each of our doctoral students is well-informed in their field, so they should share their experience in this field with others. For example, one of our doctoral students becomes aware of this when discussing such topics with his supervisor, and then he can pass on his findings to others.
DGTSH is itself a regulatory body in the branch. When I first started working here, I was sensitive to the establishment of this Council. Because the development of our Branch is connected with the development of DGTSH. Because the staff of our Council - our doctoral students - are definitely, in a comprehensive and true sense, the people I need as the head of the branch, concentrated in this area, in this direction. Unfortunately, the pandemic situation that has occurred almost in the last two years has created a number of difficulties in this activity. But I think it is very important for our researchers to hold a series of meetings in this way. And I think that our employees and teachers, who have already passed this way, will share their experience with you and will do their best for you.
Not only as the director of this Branch, but also as a colleague, a teacher, a researcher, I wish you success in your activities and research, and I hope that your work will make a great contribution to Azerbaijan, to Azerbaijani science. Good luck to each of you. "

Speaking at the end, the head of the sector of the Higher Attestation Commission, Ph.D. Sakin Jabarov answered the questions of young scientists and gave comprehensive information about their questions.

The annual reports of doctoral students and dissertators were carefully listened to and the status of their dissertations and general research was assessed.

Research issues related to the current pandemic conditions were discussed.
