The next discussion of the pilot project "Feed Calculator" implemented under the project "Capacity building of universities in the development and participation of clusters on the principles of innovation and sustainability" (UniClaD) within the EU-funded Erasmus + program was held.
Representatives of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), the State Agrarian Development Centers (SADCs) under the Ministry of Agriculture and large farms took part in the online presentation, Tehsil.biz reports.
Eldar Hasanov, head of the Livestock Organization and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that the "Feed Calculator" project is intended for use by small and medium-sized farms, which cover 94% of the country. He noted that the feed calculator is a useful mobile application that will allow you to determine the necessary feed mix for feeding different types of animals.
The author of the project, Tarlan Askerov, Head of the Zootechnical Services Sector of the Livestock Organization and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, informed about the working principle and calculation procedure of the feed calculator.
Afterwards, the participants' opinions and suggestions on the feed calculator project were heard.
