Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev noted that he was pleased to see the guest in Azerbaijan and BSU, emphasizing that such meetings and discussions serve to effectively establish cooperation between organizations.
He said that the publication of scientific journals, which are an important part of the scientific information space, should be properly organized for each researcher to get acquainted with the latest achievements of science, as well as the rapid and effective application of innovative innovations in industry and production. It was noted that this is an important issue for the prompt delivery of scientific innovations to the international scientific community. From this point of view, the main purpose of the journals published at BSU in recent years is to integrate into the advanced world science and information space. International requirements and criteria for the publication of scientific journals are stimulating for BSU in this direction. Reviewers also have a special responsibility for scientific publishing activities. At present, appropriate steps are being taken to include BSU journals in the list of international and prestigious publications. Editorial staffs of magazines strengthen control over the quality and composition of articles. Articles are being reviewed by authoritative, independent, as well as international experts. It is preferable to use modern editor software (Latex) when compiling articles.
Dr. Frans Lettenström noted that the future relations between BSU and Bentham Science Publishers will open wide opportunities for the development of cooperation in the field of publishing scientific journals. He said he had witnessed the great importance attached to the development of higher education institutions in Azerbaijan, including BSU, in the field of science and technology, as well as scientific publications in the humanities.
