Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Baku State University (BSU) visited the grave of the martyr Vugar Mammadov, a graduate of the Faculty of Theology.

According to Tehsil.biz, the visit was attended by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Shahin Yusifli and activists of the Student Trade Union of the faculty. Students were informed about the martyr's student years, the path of battle, his ascent to the summit of martyrdom, flowers were laid at his grave and prayers were said for his soul.

It should be noted that the martyr Vugar Mammadov studied at the Faculty of Theology of BSU in 2011-2015. He took an active part in the April battles, and on October 9, 2020, he was killed in an operation to liberate the city center of Fizuli as a result of enemy sniper fire during heavy fighting.
