A memorandum of cooperation was signed between ADAU and Szeged University

A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU) with a group of professors representing 6 Hungarian universities led by the Hungarian ambassador to Azerbaijan, diplomat for culture and education Mihaly Gruber.

Rector of the University, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov greeted the guests and informed them about the history of the Agrarian University. It was noted that ADAU, as the only agrarian higher education institution in Azerbaijan, has close ties with Hungarian universities. The guests were informed about the university's dual degree programs, international relations, modern laboratories and internship opportunities.

The guests, led by diplomat Mihaly Gruber, said they were pleased to be here and would further develop cooperation opportunities.

Then a memorandum of cooperation was signed online between the University of Szeged in Hungary and the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.

The purpose of the memorandum was to develop future educational programs, exchange of academic information and materials, as well as student-teacher interaction.

Szeged University, with 21,000 students, is one of the most established universities in the European education system. Students from more than 130 countries study at this university. Hundreds of programs are taught at 12 faculties at the university.
