Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) -funded Private Sector Development Project (PSA) Ferrero have launched trainings on the Hazelnut Technical Certificate Program (TCP).

The first session took place on October 16-17 in the new building of the Agrarian University.

34 students and graduates of agronomy are participating in the Technical Certificate Program for further development and export of hazelnut in Azerbaijan. The trainings are planned to be held in Ganja, Guba, Gabala and Zagatala districts over the next 5 weeks.

Due to the fact that the training was conducted online in addition to the traditional method, the number of participants was large.

At the end, a mutual debate was held between the participants and experts.

It should be noted that the participants will take an exam at the end of the program and receive an international certificate. The next session will be held again on October 30-31 at ADAU.
