A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the e-Government Development Center (EGC) of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Baku Higher Oil School on October 19.

Welcoming the participants, EHIM Director Fariz Jafarov noted the importance of digitalization and technological development in education.

Chairman of the State Agency Ulvi Mehdiyev stressed that cooperation covers many areas, and expressed confidence that it will be beneficial for both sides.

Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov noted that this cooperation will play an important role in the future careers of students and will further expand the direction of relations between the two institutions.

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Fariz Jafarov, Director of the Center, and Elmar Gasimov, Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School.

The memorandum covers the involvement of students in internships and participation in local and international projects organized or conducted by the ECHR, the organization of joint seminars, courses and trainings, scientific events.

In addition, the cooperation will use the Center's experience in the development of intellectual products, the application of digital control solutions to ensure safe operation during the COVID-19 pandemic, the integration of the University's e-learning system into the "ASAN Login" Unified Access System, training field staff and covers other areas.
