The British Ambassador to Azerbaijan at the Baku Higher Oil School

The British Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Azerbaijan James Sharp was the Baku Higher Oil School (BANM). BANM Rector Elmar Gasimov met with the ambassador and informed the AII school's history, success and teaching process.

He stressed that the effects of climate change and its living world's impact are more concerned about the world, and spoke about the methods of combating the reduction of carbon dioxide, in this area and the UK. Emphasizing the importance of renewable energy, the ambassador noted the role of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to protect the environment and touched on the importance of joint cooperation in the environment.

The ambassador also reminded that in November this year, the UN Climate Change Conference Conference in Glasgow - COP26 will be held and world leaders will meet to agree on the threat of global climatic change. He noted that the British Council and the British Council support the COP26 goals in Azerbaijan through various educational and cultural programs in Baku, and our main goal is to increase dialogue opportunities for climatic cooperation, our youth It is to expand its participation in the discussions on climate change.

Speaking about the cooperation with the Baku Higher Oil School, Ambassador James Sharp expressed satisfaction with the first meeting of the meetings with Azerbaijani youth with the organized programs.
