An exhibition dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Ashig Alasgar, a prominent master of words and one of the greatest representatives of Azerbaijani folk poetry, has been organized at Baku State University (BSU) by the Scientific Library and the Library and Information Faculty.

According to Tehsil.biz, the exhibition presents books about the life and work of Ashug Alasgar, a prominent representative of the art of ashug, a collection of his works, as well as books and articles written about him. The exhibition, which features about 80 books, also includes books donated to the Scientific Library by Khatai Alasgarli, a representative of the Ashig Alasgar dynasty.
