Employees of the Department of World Economy of Baku Engineering University (BMU) - Ph.D. “Unhappy Moves? Assessing the Link Between Life (Dis) Satisfaction and Intention to Emigrate in Azerbaijan ”article was published in an international journal.

An article published in the SCOPUS journal Economics and Sociology examines the link between dissatisfaction with life and the tendency to migrate. Based on the results of a survey of 1,317 respondents, the article used the smallest squares method, as well as the Robust smallest squares method and other econometric calculation methods.

The results showed a high tendency to migrate, especially among young people and men. The article also found that increased happiness and age reduced the tendency to migrate.

The study provides some recommendations for policy measures.
