On October 20, 2021, Baku State University (BSU) and Mingachevir State University (MSU) held a round table on "Organization of training in" Physics Teaching "in accordance with the joint action plan adopted for the current academic year in cooperation.

Relevant administrative and academic members of the Faculty of Physics of BSU and the Faculty of Pedagogy of Moscow State University took part in the round table, which was organized online via the Microsoft Teams platform, Tehsil.biz reports.

Hamiz Mahmudov, Advisor to the Rector of Moscow State University, who moderated the round table, noted the successful cooperation between the universities and thanked the leadership of both universities for the attention and support.

It was noted that taking into account the requirements of the labor market, MSU plans to train new specialties in the near future, including "Physics Teaching", and the main purpose of the roundtable is to study the experience of BSU, which has a rich tradition in this field.

V.Mammadov, Deputy Dean of the Physics Faculty of BSU, praised the initiative of MSU, noting that in the conditions of sustainable development and application of new technologies, there is a growing need to train teachers who teach natural and technical subjects in secondary schools and meet modern requirements. said they are always open.

V.Mammadov shared his experience of the university and gave detailed information about the establishment, structure and management of the Physics Faculty of BSU, higher education programs, scientific directions, teaching and scientific-methodological base and achievements.

Speaking about the educational standard and curriculum for the specialty "Physics Teaching", V. Mammadov stressed the importance of providing quality educational services at the undergraduate level and the importance of promoting technical sciences in the regions.

Ahmad Abdinov, Head of the Department of Physical Electronics of BSU, Rahim Rahimov, Associate Professor of the Department of General Physics and Teaching Methods of Physics He stressed the importance of cooperation with educational institutions, as well as the establishment of modern laboratories.

Then, at the round table, which continued with discussions, there was a wide exchange of views on the formation and development of training capacity in "Physics Teaching" at MSU, and numerous questions were answered in detail.

It should be noted that in order to improve the quality of higher education services and strengthen the academic capacity of MSU, special attention is paid to cooperation with BSU, the leading and oldest higher education institution in the country. In order to further increase the intensity and results-oriented of this cooperation, both universities have adopted a multifaceted joint action plan to be implemented in the current academic year. Aimed at contributing to the comprehensive development of students and graduate students, academic and administrative staff, this action plan includes master classes, conferences, scientific seminars, trainings, exchange of experiences and student-oriented events of various contents.
