The moderator of the meeting, which took place in a video conference format, was a member of the YAP Youth Union Anastasia Lavrina.

Chairman of the YAP Youth Union Bakhtiyar Islamov made an opening speech. He spoke about the unity of the Azerbaijani people in the 44-day Patriotic War around the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, as well as the victory achieved by the invincibility of the Azerbaijani army.

Then Matthew Bryza informed about his activities during his tenure as ambassador to Azerbaijan. The former ambassador also shared his views on the political and economic prospects in the region during the post-conflict period, the development of the peace process in the region and the steps to be taken to accelerate this process.

The meeting, which was broadcast live on the Facebook pages of the YAP and the YAP Youth Union, continued with answers to the questions of the participants.
