BMU took part in the exhibition "Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh"

Baku Engineering University (BMU) took part in the 1st Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh" organized at the Baku Expo Center.

BMU was the only university among the universities represented at the exhibition. The university participated in the exhibition with the organizational support and cooperation of the Ukrainian engineering company "Professor Katsenbach and Partners", "Ukrainian Institute of Civil Engineering and Technical Research" and "Social Entrepreneurship Development and Training Center" LLC.

The stand, which is represented by BMU together with its Ukrainian partners, displays information about the university's current specialties, the dual degree program with INHA University of Korea, SABAH groups and the newly created Master of Cyber ​​Security program through booklets and roll-ups. The stand presented to the participants by two active students of the university (Aydan Gafarova and Chinara Mustafayeva) and the chief specialist of the Technopark Arif Najimov, as well as models of modern and innovative houses built by students.

It should be noted that some time ago, under the leadership of Tunzala Mammadzade, a teacher at the Department of Architecture and Design of BMU, students of the University's Design specialty prepared park projects in Karabakh. The students selected the region they wanted in our liberated lands and submitted a park project according to that area. At the same time, Nikrouz Forouzandeh, a senior lecturer at the Department of Architecture and Design at BMU, took part in the competition "Renewed Face of Ancient Karabakh" held by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture. According to the decision of the jury, the project presented by him together with another architect was awarded the 3rd place in Sarijali village of Aghdam region. The exhibition featured a model of three modern and innovative houses built by students of the Department of Architecture and Design of BMU (Ayshan Bagirova, Pikakhanim Bagirova, Tukazban Mammadli and Huseyn Imanov), as well as a video demonstration of sketch projects of students and teachers.

At the exhibition, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Diaspora Organization in Azerbaijan, the First Secretary of the German Embassy in Baku, the head of the UN International Organization for Migration, other companies and visitors received information about BMU.

At the same time, Hyunjin Yang, the head of the BMU-INHA dual degree program management department, visited the exhibition and got acquainted with the stand and the participants of the exhibition.

It should be noted that the 1st Azerbaijan International Rebuild Karabakh Reconstruction, Reconstruction and Development Exhibition is being held in connection with the liberation and active restoration of the Karabakh territory. Exhibitors, including government agencies and local and foreign companies, will present projects they plan to implement or have already implemented in Karabakh, as well as products they are ready to deliver to supply the region, as well as plans for the organization of local production, construction of infrastructure facilities, etc. . created a unique opportunity to present on one platform. The exhibition lasted for 3 days (October 20-22, 2021).
