Dean of the Faculty of Theology of the Azerbaijan Theological Institute (ATI), Associate Professor Elnura Azizova took part in an international symposium on "The role of the second century AH in the formation and formation of Islamic sciences" organized by Istanbul University.

Speaking on "Abu Mikhnaf: re-reading the most famous Arabic proverb in terms of its impact on the content and style of the Maktalul-Hussein," Associate Professor E.Azizova said that He spoke about the influence of the Arabic example - the VIII century (II century AH) Arab historian Abu Mikhnaf's "Maqtal al-Hussein" - on the later works of Maqtal. The speaker made a comparative analysis of the impact of Abu Mikhnaf's proverbs on Arabic and Turkic proverbs, and gave examples of the process of transformation of a historical work into a historical-literary work.
