We present the biography of teacher Elvin Salimov, a participant of the Great Patriotic War.

Elvin Zahid oglu Salimov was born on May 23, 1991. He took part in the glorious victory in the Great Patriotic War and taught patriotism on the battlefield.
In 2009, he graduated from secondary school No. 202 in Baku. In the same year he entered the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Baku State University. In 2017-2018, he received a second degree in Informatics teaching at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.

Participating in the Teacher Recruitment Competition, E. Salimov, who is the first in the country on the subject of Informatics, has been working as a computer science teacher at Baku Secondary School No. 27 since 2018.

Since 2019, he is the coordinator of the Azerbaijan Young Teachers Association in Baku. Since September 2020, he has been working as a trainer in the "Digital Skills" project, and as a computer science teacher in the TV lesson project.

As soon as the war broke out, the young teacher went to the front and took part in the battles in the direction of Fizuli, Jabrayil and Shusha.

In May 2021, he was awarded the Honorary Decree "For services to the young generation" by the Committee on Youth and Sports of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, AzEdu.az Education Portal and the Young Teacher Network jointly organized the Young Teacher of the Year 2021 competition.

Saying that he is very proud to be a winning teacher of the winning country, E. Salimov says that he will always be an example to his students with his practical activity.
