Today, October 25, Lankaran State University (LSU) and Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (ASUCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of culture and art, coordination of education, science and practice, coordination of scientific and pedagogical activities in both universities was opened by the rector of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Prof. Jeyran Mahmudova.
Noting that the expansion of cooperation between Lankaran State University and the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan in recent years is beneficial for both universities, Mahmudova stressed the effectiveness of the working visits of teachers and students of the university to Lankaran State University.

He said that joint student training in music and fine arts teaching with ASMU will be useful for students and teachers of LSU. For this reason, LSU intends to implement the curricula of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, to carry out student-teacher exchange, to benefit from the vast experience of this art center.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Rector Natig Ibrahimov on behalf of Lankaran State University and Rector Jeyran Mahmudov on behalf of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
According to the Memorandum, the parties will further coordinate activities related to training in the field of culture and art, provide dual degree education, develop curricula, teaching aids, cooperation in teacher and student exchange, joint research, creative competitions and reviews, seminars. will ensure the organization.
At the same time, within the framework of the Memorandum, joint participation of faculty and students in teaching, research, internships, mutual cooperation and relations between student organizations of universities, exchange of experience will be carried out.
After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, the parties presented gifts to each other. One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the opening of the Lankaran exhibition.
The event ended with an interesting concert program performed by students of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
