In his opening remarks, MSU Rector's Adviser Hamiz Mahmudov stressed that the trainings are aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of young university staff and students in the field of general education management, as well as contributing to the development of pedagogical management in the region. . It was noted that during the five-day training, experienced teachers of BSU will make presentations and discuss various topics on topical issues of school management.
The first training on "School leadership, principles, strategies and values" was conducted by Elmina Kazimzadeh, associate professor of the Department of Gender and Applied Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology, BSU. E.Kazimzadeh spoke about management and leadership in education, types of leadership, transformation, the essence, advantages and characteristics of distributed and ethical leadership, shared relevant best practices of foreign countries, exchanged views with participants on effective management decisions in specific situations and answered their questions. .
The next trainings, which will be held until October 29, will cover the following topics: "School atmosphere, its research and application in management", "Gender issues in education", "Work with gifted students", "Pedagogical and psychological problems in school management in the postpandemic period."
It should be noted that in order to improve the quality of higher education services and strengthen the academic capacity of MSU, special attention is paid to cooperation with BSU, the leading and oldest higher education institution in the country. In order to further increase the intensity and results-oriented cooperation, both universities are implementing a multifaceted joint action plan.
