An event dedicated to the memory of heroic students and graduates of the 44-day Patriotic War was held today at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC).
At the beginning of the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of students and graduates who died in the war to liberate our lands from enemy occupation.
Announcing the ceremony, Chairman of the University Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) Bayram Aslanov said that the lands occupied by Armenian invaders for almost 30 years were liberated at the cost of the lives and blood of our glorious Army and heroic sons. He thanked our heroes for living. He stressed that our heroes, who rose to the peak of martyrdom, have gained immortality, we are indebted to them all our lives, and the way of life and courage of these sons is an example for each of us.

He said that the main purpose of the event was to introduce students and graduates of our university to our students and graduates who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the Great Patriotic War. Afterwards, the martyr presented introductory photo-information about each of our students and graduates.
The THIK chairman noted that a group of committee members made a video about Elsever's heroic path, as the date of today's event coincided with the memorial day of the graduate of the Faculty of Construction and Technology, martyr Elsevar Ahadzade. The video was presented to the participants of the event.
