Baku Engineering University (BMU) hosted a promotional event for first-year students of the Student Scientific Society (SSC).
TEC chairman Sahila Nematli made a presentation on the activities of the society. He said that TEC is a student organization established to implement projects, seminars, scientific festivals, competitions, as well as to coordinate research and scientific-practical work of students. Touching upon the important measures taken by the society so far, Nematli stressed the tasks facing TEC. The chairman of the society noted that the involvement of students in research activities, as well as the promotion of various forms of scientific creativity, students' scientific centers, technology parks, idea incubators, etc. Activities will be further strengthened to involve them in the work carried out at enterprises.
Bahman Mammadov (Qudsi), a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of BMU, as well as the scientific head of TEC, spoke on "Backgrounds and Figures" at the seminar held as part of the event. He spoke about student leadership and the points that need to be considered. At the same time, Mammadov provided students with interesting information about successful people in science and other fields, and gave recommendations to increase their interest in science.
