On October 25, 2021, a scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the implementation of the "State Program on Road Safety in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023" was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU).
A group of MSU academic staff, students and graduate students took part in the seminar, which was organized online via the Microsoft Teams platform, Tehsil.biz reports.
In his introductory speech at the seminar, MSU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Veysal Ayyubov spoke about the importance of the state program approved by the President and currently successfully implemented, and spoke about the work done and planned at the university within the action plan. Emphasizing that one of the main activities is the systematic and continuous study of theoretical and practical issues on road safety, V. Eyyubov stressed the importance of the seminar and wished success to the participants.
The scientific-practical seminar, moderated by the head of the Department of Science and Innovations of Moscow State University Vugar Mustafayev, began with presentations on the reports included in the program.
Associate Professor Allaz Aliyev from the Department of Mechanics of the University "Traffic safety is a priority for Azerbaijan", teacher Ilham Mammadov "Impact of road transport on the environment", teacher Garagoz Karimov "Smart cities" and "Transport", employee of the Mingachevir City Department of Road Transport Friday Mustafayev made reports on "Safety in road transport in Mingachevir."
The reports discussed the improvement of management in the field of road safety in our country, the application of modern innovative methods, compliance with environmental requirements, increasing the effectiveness of relevant awareness, advocacy and other issues.
Speaking about the responsibilities of the university in connection with the implementation of the state program, the head of the Department of Mechanics, Associate Professor Mahir Ismayilov noted that MSU currently conducts training in bachelor's degree in "Transport Engineering" and master's degree in "Ground Engineering". shared his views on improving the quality.
The seminar participants discussed the reports with interest and answered the questions in detail.
