The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held today at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC). The meeting discussed the results of admission at the bachelor's and master's levels in the 2021-2022 academic year.

Opening the meeting, the rector of the university, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova greeted the members of the council, Tehsil.biz reports. Before drawing attention to the issues on the agenda, the rector spoke about Arif Hajiyev, a member of the Scientific Council, associate professor of the university, a valuable scientist, a real intellectual, who died in September this year.

The head of the Admissions Committee Surkhay Aliyev spoke on the first issue of the agenda. According to the report on "Results of entrance exams at the bachelor's level in the 2021/2022 academic year, increasing the rating and attractiveness of the university in the new academic year", 1624 students were admitted to the university in the new academic year instead of 1970, 83% of the university plan. Speaking about the results of admission to faculties and specialties, S.Aliyev voiced substantiated proposals on the forecast of student admission for the next academic year.

The head of the commission also spoke about the admission to the College of Construction at the university, noting that the college admitted 550 students instead of the planned 565, and the admission plan was 97 percent complete.

The head of the Master's Center Rovshan Samadov presented a report on the results of admission to the master's degree in the new academic year. R.Samadov also made interesting proposals to build the university's propaganda at the desired level, increase the rating and attractiveness of the university. Both reports were discussed, and ways to overcome the problems that arose at the reception were discussed.
