The Ministry of Education organized the "Southern Cup-2021" intellectual school championship on Brain Ring among students of 8-11 grades of secondary schools.

According to Tehsil.biz, a total of 8 teams competed in the championship, including 1 team from Masalli, Astara, Lankaran, Lerik, Yardimli, Bilasuvar, Jalilabad and Salyan regions.

The jury included representatives of the Ministry of Education, the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and an independent expert.

In the competition, the team of Salyan region was awarded the first place, the team of Lankaran city the second place, and the team of Astara region the third place.

The winners were awarded gifts from the Ministry of Education, as well as medals and cups.
