A new head of the Education Department of the Azerbaijan University of Technology (UTECA) has been appointed.

Babek Mikayil oglu Hasanov will be the head of the education department, Tehsil.biz reports.

Babek Hasanov was born on April 10, 1990 in the Samukh region. He graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Technology in 2011 with a bachelor's degree and in 2014 with a master's degree. In 2015, he was admitted to the Doctor of Philosophy program in industrial organization and management at the Azerbaijan University of Technology. At present, philosophy is in the defense stage of the doctoral program.

Babek Hasanov has been working at Azerbaijan University of Technology since 2014 as a laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, teacher and assistant rector. Since 2016, he has been the director of the Distance and Correspondence Education Center.

He is married and has 2 children.
