Among the tens of thousands of Azerbaijanis who took part in the 44-day Patriotic War were teachers. Only 38 teachers from schools under the Baku City Education Department took part in the war and showed heroism. Each of them returned as a veteran and resumed their teaching activities.

After the Patriotic War, the Baku City Education Department and the Qafqazinfo news portal published 38 reports on the teachers within the framework of the "Let's get to know our heroic teachers" project. These articles not only aroused great interest in the society, but also made a positive contribution to the development of students in the spirit of military patriotism.

After the completion of the project, which was met with great interest among the public, there was an initiative to publish a book with a collection of these reports and distribute the funds free of charge both in Baku and to other schools in the country.

Nar has undertaken the costs of publishing, presentation and distribution of the book, which will be published in high quality in Turkey. The book will be published by Nestor Publications.

We believe that this wonderful initiative will play a major role in disseminating information about our veteran teachers, as well as contribute to the education of future generations.

It should be noted that the book will initially be published in 2,000 copies in 4 colors with a circulation of about 150 pages.
