Mahammad Hasanov, a researcher at the Department of Condensed Physics at the Research Institute of Physical Problems at Baku State University (BSU), made a report on "Analysis of the properties of metal-semiconductor contact based on the theory of complex systems."
According to the report, the diversity of the structure and properties of thin metal sheets used in the manufacture of Schottky diodes and obtained under different technological methods and conditions varies widely. Based on the theory of complex systems, the electrophysical properties of metal-semiconductor contacts (taking into account the heterogeneity of the contact surface) were studied and the applicability of the obtained results was determined.
The scientific seminar was attended by employees of the Institute and doctoral students.
