On October 27, 2021, the head of the Department of Energy of Mingachevir State University (MSU) Ulker Ashurova, the head of the Department of Mechanics Mahir Ismayilov, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Jalil Bagirov met with the director of "Azerbaijan TPP" LLC Tahmasib Huseynov. Yegana Abdullayeva, coordinator of the Training Center of Azerbaijan Thermal Power Plant LLC, also attended the meeting.

According to Tehsil.biz, the sides exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation and discussed the details of the agreement reached on the implementation of a mutual training program.

It was noted that within the program, students of the Faculty of Engineering will be involved in two-week trainings at the Training Center of "Azerbaijan TPP" LLC, will get acquainted with the production and will have the opportunity to benefit from experienced staff. At the same time, members of the university's academic staff will conduct relevant trainings for young employees of TPP.

Then, MSU employees got acquainted with the classrooms of the Training Center of the TPP, equipped with modern technologies.

It should be noted that special attention is paid to the development of cooperation with industry in order to improve the quality of training at MSU, which is currently in the process of modernization.
